In Nottingham, three individuals have tragically lost their lives, leading to the arrest of a man on suspicion of murder.
The police were summoned to Ilkeston Road shortly after 4 am, where they discovered two lifeless bodies on the street. Shortly thereafter, officers responded to another incident on Milton Street, where a van had apparently targeted three individuals with an attempt to run them over. The injured parties are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

In addition, a deceased man was found on Magdala Road. According to a witness interviewed by the BBC, disturbing screams filled the air, accompanied by the sight of a young man and woman being stabbed near the junction of Ilkeston Road and Bright Street in Nottingham at approximately 4 am.
A 31-year-old man has been apprehended by the police on suspicion of murder and is presently in custody.
Chief Constable Kate Meynell described the incidents as “horrific and tragic” and stated that the police believe they are all connected. As the investigation is still in its early stages, a dedicated team of detectives is diligently working to determine the exact sequence of events.
The public is urged to remain patient as inquiries proceed, and it is important to note that several roads within the city will remain closed during the course of the investigation.
