Libya Flood – Approximately 2,000 individuals have lost their lives, and an estimated 10,000 people are missing in the torrential rainfall caused by Storm Daniel in northeast Libya.

The collapse of two dams resulted in the overflow of water into already flooded regions.

Tamer Ramadan, who leads the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), stated during a press conference in Geneva on Tuesday, “The loss of life has been staggering, with reports of around 10,000 individuals missing.”
