Nikola Jokic, a two-time MVP, and Jamal Murray achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming only the second pair of teammates to score a minimum of 25 points and gather at least 10 assists in the same NBA Finals game.
The first duo to accomplish this feat was Magic Johnson and James Worthy for the Los Angeles Lakers back in 1987. Jokic exhibited an outstanding performance, recording 27 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists.
He became only the second player to achieve a triple-double in his NBA Finals debut, with Jason Kidd (23-10-10) achieving the same feat for the New Jersey Nets in 2002.
