During BBC Breakfast, host Charlie Staylt cut to the Saturday Kitchen studio to preview their upcoming 10 a.m. show.
However, viewers were taken aback when they saw that The One Show’s Alex Jones was hosting instead of the well-known chef Matt.
Charlie humorously remarked to Alex, “Matt’s nowhere to be found, and here you are!”
With a cheerful grin, Alex introduced herself as Matt’s stand-in, saying, “Indeed! Matt’s away, and I’m here to step in!”
