Titanic submersible – As the search for the missing submersible intensifies, the countdown to the critical 96-hour mark is underway. With each passing moment, the available air supply for the crew onboard is rapidly depleting. The Titan submersible, which embarked on its journey in the North Atlantic on Sunday morning, was equipped with approximately 96 hours’ worth of breathable air. Consequently, the window of opportunity to locate and rescue the submersible is narrowing, estimated to fall between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm (IST).

Recent developments indicate that the French research vessel, Atalante, tasked with aiding in the search operation, has decreased its speed as it approaches the designated search area. Marine Traffic data, as reported by Reuters, reveals that the Atalante is currently traveling at a rate of 6 nautical knots and is positioned approximately 20 km to 30 km away from the Polar Prince vessel, which originally carried the missing Titan submersible.
